Miami hands Pitt 10th straight loss, 69-57

Lonnie Walker IV scored 16 points Wednesday, and Miami regrouped after blowing a 13-point second-half lead to hand the Pittsburgh Panthers their school record-tying 10th consecutive loss, 69-57.

Pitt's Luther out for season with right foot injury

The Pittsburgh Panthers announced Thursday that the stress reaction Ryan Luther is dealing with in his right foot is not responding well to treatment and will prevent him from returning this season. Luther said he will apply for a medical hardship.

Pittsburgh announced that senior forward Ryan Luther will miss the rest of the season with a right foot injury. Hasn't played since Dec. 9. Was averaging 12.7 PPG and 10.1 RPG prior to the injury.

No. 7 Duke bounces back with 87-52 win over Pitt

Marvin Bagley III scored 16 points and grabbed 15 rebounds and No. 7 Duke had little trouble bouncing back from a loss to North Carolina State by drilling overmatched Pittsburgh 87-52 on Wednesday night.
