Haven't seen the Warriors' locker room this somber in quite some time. Most players at their locker stalls with heads down montitoring their phones.

After being down 17 in the third quarter, Kevin Durant has Golden State facing a six-point deficit heading into the fourth. Durant leads all scorers with 25 points.

The Spurs jumped out to a 17-point lead in the first half over the Warriors largely by taking better care of the ball. The Warriors had 11 first-half turnovers (which led to 13 Spurs points) while the Spurs tallied just one. It also greatly helped the Spurs that they started knocking down wide-open 3-pointers after missing many of those earlier in the series. They connected on seven of 15 attempts from beyond the arc in the first half, with Dejounte Murray hitting all three of his attempts from deep. Entering this game, Murray had made just one postseason 3-pointer in his career.

San Antonio smothering Golden State, holding them to 35 percent shooting in the first half. The Warriors face a 14-point deficit.

The Warriors notched seven first quarter turnovers, tying for their most turnovers in an opening quarter this season. They trail, 30-22, entering the second quarter. The Spurs are playing with a lot more energy thus far.

Outside of Kevin Durant, who has eight points, no other Warrior has more than two points. This is one reason San Antonio leads 30-22 after the first quarter.

Spurs veteran guard Manu Ginobili receives a standing ovation from many fans here at the AT&T Center as he checks into the game with 5:05 in the first quarter. There's speculation that this could be the final game of the 40-year-old Ginobili's NBA career, as he has yet to decide whether he will return to the Spurs for what would be a 17th season in 2018-19.

Golden State has coughed up the ball five times in the game's first five minutes. Kevin Durant with two turnovers already. San Antonio up 10-7.

When recently asked about a potential second-round matchup against the Golden State Warriors, New Orleans Pelicans coach Alvin Gentry said, "I don't care, I just want to out-coach Steve Kerr." Gentry, of course, used to coach alongside Kerr, the Warriors head coach -- and Kerr laughed when asked about Gentry's remark Sunday ahead of Game 4 against the San Antonio Spurs. "Is that what [Gentry] said?" Kerr asked. "That's awesome. Well, I look forward to it. He's one of my best friends. I love Alvin to death, and I'm so happy for him and his success. We've got to finish our business here, and then if you want to ask me about Alvin later, once we can advance, then we'll talk more about that. But in the meantime, we've got to try and finish this thing." The Warriors have a 3-0 series lead against the Spurs and are looking to close out the series today.

Warriors coach Steve Kerr said Sunday, prior to Game 4 against the San Antonio Spurs, that star guard Stephen Curry (knee sprain) is "not going to play anytime soon, but he's coming along well. He still has a few limitations that he's trying to work though, but [he's suffering] no pain. I think he's on track. I can't put a timetable on it, but I think he's coming along really well."
