Minnesota Timberwolves PR announced shortly before gametime that starting forward Robert Covington will not play Saturday against the Portland Trail Blazers due to right knee soreness. Covington had been probable to play. He'll be replaced in the starting lineup by Derrick Rose, who's averaged 29.2 points in five starts this season, including his career-high 50 points vs. the Utah Jazz on October 31.
