Paul George was happy to see Kyler Murray win the Heisman trophy, saying he was "rooting for the hometown guy." Murray is a two-sport star, drafted ninth overall by the Oakland A's and has said he plans to play baseball professionally. "The Heisman probably won't play in the NFL," George said. "He's having a huge season. Dude is explosive. He's fast as heck, which is crazy."

An incredible fourth quarter comeback by OKC to steal one in Brooklyn, led by Paul George who was inside-of-a-hot-pocket hot. George had 47 — including 25 in the fourth quarter, a Thunder franchise record for points in any quarter — plus 15 rebounds and hit the game-winning shot with three seconds left. It was a beautifully executed play by OKC, with Russell Westbrook showcasing his renewed approach by drawing two defenders and kicking to an open George who drilled a 3. Westbrook finished with 21-15-17, his 108th career triple-double, passing Jason Kidd for third on the all-time list.
